Awan Lurus di Santa Rosa

Beberapa jam yang lalu (sekitar jam 8:45 PM), saya melihat awan lurus menghampar di utara kota Santa Rosa. Berdasarkan info yang saya baca di suatu artikel tentang tanda awal akan adanya gempa diawali dengan munculnya awan lurus di langit, seperti yang telah terjadi di Jakarta dan beberapa tempat lainnya. Teori awan lurus ini ditemukan oleh seorang Jepang, yang walau bukan seorang geologis, tapi berhasil membuktikan akan adanya gempa di banyak tempat.

Insya Allah tidak terjadi gempa yang menakutkan di sekitar tempat saya tinggal. Beberapa hari yang lalu terjadi gempa berskala 4.4 dengan episenter di sekitar kota Rohnert Park yang berjarak hanya sekitar 5 mil dari Santa Rosa.

Santa Rosa sendiri berdiri di dekat seismic zone dan pada puluhan tahun yang lalu mengalami gempa yang cukup dahsyat dan memporak-porandakan bangunan. Beberapa tahun yang lalu juga sempat terjadi gempa kecil dengan episentrum di sekitar kota Napa.
